CATALINA —

The search for missing boater Frank Cipriano has been called off today according to the US Coast Guard.

The Two Harbors area of Catalina Island has been searched for the past 24 hours when Cipriano was reported missing at  about 10:45 a.m. Sunday.

He has not been located, and friends and family are beginning to fear the worst....

He was with friends on the yacht named "The Indecent Proposal" that was docked in Cherry Cove, just west of Isthmus Cove and Two Harbors.

Cipriano, who is in his 30's,  took a trip on the vessel's dingy and did not return, according to the Coast Guard. The dingy was found one mile off Eagle Reef.  He was wearing black "board" shorts and a polo-style shirt.

If you have any additional information about Frank and can share more about his life, please feel free to hit my comment section below.

I will keep him in my Prayers and hope for a safe return....
