Washington, DC:

Twitter is lighting up tonight as a famed Washington neighborhood is plunged into darkness due to an underground electrical explosion.

I have been following many "Twit heads" over the past 40  minutes, and lots of "chatter" about an underground transformer fire about two blocks from the White House.  One of my peeps hit me and said "lots of emergency vehicles" running around by Willard Hotel.

Evacuations are taking place at two Washington DC hotels, including one of my all time favorites "The Willard Hotel," fire officials are telling news sources tonight.

Flames shot up through a sidewalk on F Street NW between 14th and 15th streets after 8 p.m., around two hours ago.  Scary stuff, man...

The W Hotel was also evacuated.   Stay tuned.  If your in the area by the Willard, hit my comment section and give me an update....
