Funeral Services for Serena Tarin, Alfredo Tarin, Jr., and their father, Alfredo Tarin Sr. have been finalized. The community is invited to remember these three great family members who lost their life last week in that horrific mass shooting at their Devlin Avenue home here in Hawaiian Gardens.

Public Viewing and Rosary: Friday, May 21st from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at All Souls Mortuary at 4400 Cherry Avenue in Long Beach.

Location of St. Peter Chanel
Catholic Church

Funeral Mass and Burial will take place on Saturday, May 22nd at 10 a.m. at St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church at 12001 E. 214th Street in Hawaiian Gardens.

Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery at 11:30 to 12 p.m. at 4400 Cherry Avenue in Long Beach.

The City of Hawaiian Gardens has also established a Memorial Fund to assist the Tarin Family during these difficult times. Contributions can be made to the Tarin Family Memorial Fund, c/o The Bank of the West, 5240 Clark Avenue, Lakewood CA 90712 or by calling (562)925-1211.

I want to also thank the good folks over at Hawaiian Gardens City Hall for everything they are doing to help the Tarin Family during these difficult days. This is a great, loving community, and today all of us need to continue to support one and other!

I hope that many members of the media will cover these events, so this family can been remembered in a positive light!
