Beau Biden, the popular son of Vice President Joe Biden has been hospitalized today, and it appears that he might have suffered a stroke.

I am praying for Beau this morning.  I suffered a stroke in 2001 at the age of 41, so I can relate to Beau and his "possible" condition.  The road that lies ahead for him will be a long one, full of frustrations and challenges.

Beau is also only 41 years old, so this news today really "hit home" for me.  Going through a stroke is horrific.  It is a living hell. You are put into an "altered" state for weeks and months.

It makes you mad, and sad, and you feel like you are stuck in a "shell" of your former body.  I will keep you posted. Good luck Beau! I am pulling for you today!

According to the Vice President’s statement, Beau Biden was conscious and alert when he was brought to the hospital:   “Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden is at Christiana Medical Center (in Delaware) undergoing treatment at present. He is alert and awake, and communicating with his parents and his wife, who are with him. We will provide more details as they become available.”

According to MSNBC’s First Read, Beau’s condition is still unknown and he was taken to the hospital after the Vice President’s TV appearances:

“According to a spokesperson in the vice president’s office, Beau Biden is up talking and conscious. This all happened after Vice President Biden completed morning shows from Delaware today.”  But the local ABC affiliate Action News, is reporting that Beau Biden, Delaware’s Attorney General showed signs of a stroke.

Randy...tell us more about your stroke? It is amazing to see that BOTH you and BEAU were the SAME age. I hope he is well, and you are LIVING PROOF that you can SURVIVE and THRIVE from a STROKE!
