RICHARD HARO and AARON GALLARDO: Two young adults run over and killed by freight train in Rosemead. Investigation underway

(Los Angeles, CA)  Two young adult men were killed early Saturday morning after they were run over by a  freight train in Rosemead have been identified as Aaron Gallardo and Richard Haro, both 19, and both residents of Rosemead.

Homicide detectives with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department are now investigating the incident.

The Sheriff's Department's Temple Station received a report of a person struck by a train around 12:32 a.m. in the 8800 block of Grand Avenue, not far from Rosemead Boulevard.

The bodies of Gallardo and Haro were found near the Union Pacific railroad tracks.

Both were pronounced dead at the scene and officials are still trying to determine if the men were alive or dead when they were struck by the train.

I didn't know Richie that well but every time i saw him he had a smile on his face. His mom raised him well, his brother looks like a smaller version of Richie. We miss you Richie and we love you.
