Note: One of the most important elections in this upcoming June primary is the race for Los Angeles County Assessor.  I have been covering this campaign, and their are some great candidates and some not so good ones.   One of the MOST QUALIFIED for the post is JOHN DORTCH who has more than 30 years experience in this dificult and complex office.  Check out John's website at www.Dortch4Assessor.com .

Hi Randy,

I just discovered your Website.  Thanks for covering the race for Los Angeles County Assessor.

There are a lot of good candidates! The best candidate for Assessor is someone from within the Assessor's Office, not an outsider who does not know the first thing about the duties
and responsibilities of the office.

The best candidate from within the Office is the one with the most experience as a manager within the office, not the candidate who is considered by some to be the most viable candidate!

With over 30 years of experience within the Assessor's Office including 14 years as a senior manager
responsible for over half of the property assessments in the County, I am the best candidate.

Please visit my Website at: http://www.dortch4assessor.com/ for additional info.

Say hi to Kenny (Hahn) if you have the opportunity. He has been missed by the employees in the Assessor's Office.

Best regards,

John Dortch
Candidate
Los Angeles County Assessor

BTW...
If former LA County Assessor Kenneth P. Hahn runs across this post, I hope life is treating you well in Hawaii, Kenny....I miss you!!
