Two-Alarm Fire in La Palma destroys home and injures woman over on Bon Villa Circle. 4 left homeless

A huge house fire destroyes a million dollar home early Saturday morning, and a woman has suffered major burn injuries.

About 50 firefighters from the Orange County Fire Authority and Los Angeles County Fire, including seven fire engines and three trucks responded, to a 2-alarm fire at 1:30 a.m. in the 7100 block of Bon Villa Circle. The two-story residential home was gutted.

Four people, including the injured woman, were displaced from the home.  The injured woman was taken to the world famous UCI Burn Center.

Orange County Fire Authority Captain Greg McKeown told local media that cause of the fire is being investigated. A specially trained dog is aiding the investigation.

I live on Houston and this fire was awful. I counted at least 40 fire fighters. Great blog.
