Lyvette Crespo strikes plea deal after she shot and killed my friend former Bell Gardens Mayor Daniel Crespo. I am OUTRAGED!

The Los Angeles County District Attorney just issued the following statement on the plea deal...

Slain Mayor’s Wife Pleads Guilty to Voluntary Manslaughter The wife of slain Bell Gardens Mayor Daniel Crespo pleaded guilty today to voluntary manslaughter for the death of her husband two years ago, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced. Lyvette Crespo, 45, entered her plea before Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Kathleen Kennedy. She is expected to be sentenced on Jan. 5 to 90 days in county jail, five years formal probation, 500 hours of community service and an anger management course. She was charged last year in a Grand Jury indictment with voluntary manslaughter for shooting her 45- year-old husband three times in the chest while they were at home on Sept. 30, 2014. Deputy District Attorneys Beth Silverman and Tannaz Mokayef with the Major Crimes Division prosecuted the case. Case BA435205 was investigated by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

I am beyond outraged right now.

Lyvette Crespo shot and killed my dear friend former ell Gardens Mayor Daniel Crespo a few years ago and today she pleaded guilty Wednesday to voluntary manslaughter.

In a deal struck with the district attorney’s office, the Los Angeles Times is reporting that Lyvette will be sentenced to 90 days in county jail and placed on probation for five years. She will also have to complete 500 hours of community service and an anger management course.

I am fit to be tied over this plea deal.

Daniel Crespo did not deserved to get shot and killed in cold blood....regardless of having been involved in a rocky and sometimes violent (by BOTH parties) marriage.

I pray for Lyvette today and for their children.
