58% FAVOR CLOSING or RELOCATING Hereaus and others; More details emerging about Hereaus past violations and fines

It REALLY is DIRTY SMOKE!

During this past weekend, I asked my readers to take a "snap poll" about the "smoke stack factory's" here in the Carmenita Road/Alondra Boulevard/Firestone Frontage area. Around 30 of you took it, and tonight I want to share the results.

58% of you think that our bedroom community here IS NOT the BEST place for these smokestacks like Heraeus to SHUT DOWN operations and to RELOCATE to another less dense populated area.

17% of you think that HERAEUS and others like them here are just fine, and that they poise no risk to our health or lives, and 29% of us want more information from the EPA. and not from local politicians and paid "experts." 5% of you just aren't sure about this entire situation. Stay tuned.

I have documentation from The State of California Environmental Protection Agency Department of Toxic Substances Control that shows Heraeus Metal Processing here in SFS has been guilty of numerous violations from the State's Clean Air Act over the past 7 years.

I am mulling through all of these "Consent Orders" and will be posting them here on the Blog in the next couple of days. It is amazing to see what is actually going on inside Hereaus. These Consent ORDERS, and the fines are eye opening.

Remember...where their is smoke...

I am finally beginning to understand the scope of this entire situation.
