Economy, 62, filed is official nomination papers this
past Monday. Economy is a resident of
Cathedral City in Riverside County and is the owner of his own business Hot
Water Studio & Production, LLC., that specializes in public affairs, media
relations and independent film production.
Economy gained state and national notoriety when he
served as the Senior Advisor and Official Media Spokesman for the recall
campaign against California Governor Gavin Newsom. Economy conducted more than 2,550 media
interviews during a 10-month period on outlets all over the world.
“I have been fighting to make California better my
entire life. As a former investigative journalist, I helped expose the biggest
corruption scandal in Los Angeles County history, that led to the criminal
indictments of four members of the
Assessor office that resulted in saving taxpayers millions of dollars,”
Economy stated.
“My opponent, incumbent Mike
Schaefer has sat and done nothing for the past four years as a member of the
Board of Equalization. He is literally
an empty suit who is the Poster Child of what’s wrong with Sacramento. The People of California want representatives
who are going to fight like hell to stop out of control politicians who do
nothing more than collect a paycheck,” stressed Economy.
“I care deeply about our state and as your
representative on the Board of Equalization I will work to put the California
taxpayers first. Family budgets are being wiped out by hyperinflation. Radical
politicians have destroyed the Dream. It stops now,” said Economy.
When elected, Economy said he will be a champion for
the rights of small business owners who have been wiped out by over taxation
policies and government regulations.
Government overreach cannot be tolerated in the future from out of touch
Sacramento politicians,” Economy stressed.

have been destroyed by Political Lockdowns, it must never happen again…period.”
Economy was
born in Hawthorne, California in 1960 at a community hospital called Holly Park
and is the grandson of an amazing proud Greek immigrant who came to America
around 1900 to “Live the American Dream.”
“My life has
been a great training ground up to this point, and now I am ready to make
California government more accountable to all the people,” he said.
Economy will formally announce his first list of major
endorsements over the next few days.
