They are reporting the Ex-California Assemblyman Tom Calderon is throwing in the towel in his federal corruption case...

Here is the brief...

"Former California Assemblyman Tom Calderon has agreed to plead guilty to one count of money laundering in exchange for a prison sentence of no more than 12 months in a criminal case alleging that his brother, former state Sen. Ron Calderon, accepted bribes, according to a court filing released today by the U.S. attorney’s office. Ron Calderon, charged with 24 felony counts that include accepting $88,000 in bribes, has pleaded not guilty and there is no plea agreement in his case, officials said."

I still cannot believe that voters in Southeast Los Angeles County are STILL voting for Assemblyman Ian Calderon, who is the nephew to both of these crooked Calderon's.

The fruit doesn't fall far from the tree with this corrupt family, especially when politics is the FAMILY BUSINESS with Team Calderon.

I covered the Calderon's for 30 years as a journalist, blogger and even in my past life as a political consultant and Democratic Party leader.

This family is rotten to the core, and no one needs to tolerate their corruption once and for all.
