MEDIA ADVISORY:
Rev. James Stern who shared a jail cell with Edgar Ray
Killen, the infamous Ku Klux Klan Imperial Wizard and architect of the 1964
“Mississippi Burning” murders of 3 civil rights workers will be LIVE on The
Randy Economy Show on AM 870 The Answer, KRLA this Saturday night, July 11,
from 8 to 9 p.m., to discuss that experience as well as his latest efforts to
persuade United States Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch to prosecute the KKK
under the RICO Act.
Rev. Stern, who is now a civil rights leader in the
African American community, says his story has never been completely told due to
the fact that he was held in a Mississippi prison. For him to speak out at
that time would have assured his death and the death of his family. Why? That
story includes Killen confessing to 32 cold case murders.
Economy, the host of the wildly popular “Randy Economy
Show” is an award winning investigative reporter who is responsible for
uncovering some of the biggest political corruption scandals on the West Coast
in his reporting.
Rev. Stern and Economy will talk openly about other
topics during the show, including the recent murders in South Carolina and the
removal of the Confederate Flag at its Capitol.
Both will be
available for interviews with members of the media who would like to attend the
show.
