UPDATE Man Shot, Killed on Carson Street in Lakewood

Here is the update on the shooting death in Lakewood last night from City News Service/Long Beach Press Telegram....

LAKEWOOD >> Deputies have identified the man they believe is behind a Lakewood shooting that left one man dead late Wednesday. Detectives have identified the alleged shooter as a 56-year-old Hispanic man who lives in Lakewood, according to an update from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. No arrest has been made, pending further investigation.
The shooting took place in an alley next to a Chevron gas station in the 11500 block of Carson Street, which is across the street from the Edwards Long Beach Stadium 26 movie theater at the Long Beach Town Center.  The victim was sitting in the driver’s seat of his vehicle and died at the scene, Deputy Trina Schrader said in a statement.
A second man also suffered an injury and was briefly hospitalized, Schrader said.
Four people were detained at the scene and were being interviewed by homicide detectives, she said.

The 11500 Block of Carson Street in Lakewood was the scene of a deadly shooting on Tuesday night. I just got an alert from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department about the incident. Going to keep tabs on this situation here in our community. These are scary times we live in here in Southeast Los Angeles County. It seems like more and more violent crimes just keep on taking place...
