This just in.....I will also be welcoming Dennis Zine and Tyler Izen to the Randy Economy Show this Saturday night, March 21, from 8 to 9 p.m. on AM 870 The Answer, KRLA!

We all deserve to live in a safe and protected society....this show will explore what really is going on behind the scenes at the Los Angeles Police Department and other law enforcement agencies here in Southern California. The recent headlines have been incredible on what's taking place inside several agencies....wow....you don't want to miss this show.

Dennis Zine Bio

Dennis Zine served on the Los Angeles City Council representing the 3rd district from 2001 to 2013. Zine was a police officer with the Los Angeles Police Department for over 28 years. Councilman Zine is a former Los Angeles Police Department sergeant and a current reserve officer. He worked Valley Traffic Detail and served as liaison for Deputy Chief Mark Kroeker in the aftermath of the 1992 riots. He was honored as officer of the year by the California Highway Patrol. He has been elected three times to the Board of Directors of the Police Protective League, representing the 9,100 rank and file officers.

Tyler Izen Bio

Tyler Izen was the president of the Los Angeles Police Protective League in Los Angeles, California from 2012-2014. The Los Angeles Police Protective League represents the more than 9,900 dedicated and professional sworn members of the Los Angeles Police Department. The league seeks to advance the interest of LAPD officers through legislative and legal advocacy, political action and education. As president, Detective Izen works daily with the Los Angeles Police Department, community groups and fellow officers to protect the rights, interests and welfare of the members of the League.

Izen joined the Los Angeles Police Department on February 4, 1985. He has worked patrol, vice investigations, detective, administrative and supervisory assignments as a police officer, Sergeant and Detective in Northeast, Southeast, Hollywood, Metropolitan Division, Foothill, Internal Affairs, Office of the Inspector General and Force Investigation Division.

He was elected as a Director to the LAPPL on January 1, 2009 and elected and President on January 1, 2012. He currently serves on the Board of Directors (past Chairman) of the Los Angeles Police Federal Credit Union (since 1992) and is also a Director with the Los Angeles Police Museum.
