Shooting death investigation launched at 140 West 140th Street in Los Angeles

Location of shooting in LA....

One person has been killed and another reportedly injured in an incident that has sent Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide Bureau detectives to 140 West 140th Street, Los Angeles.

Officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man and the wounding of another.

The incident took place at around 11 p.m. on Saturday night. Both victims were transported to a local hospital where one victim was pronounced dead.

The other victim was treated for a gunshot wound to the upper torso and is expected to survive. There is no further information available at this time.
