NEW YORK, NY - AUGUST 24: A New York Police officer investigates by the covered body of a shooting victim near the Empire State Building on August 24, 2012 in New York City. Police said 58-year-old Jeffrey Johnson shot and killed a former co-worker 41-year-old of Hazan Imports during an altercation at 10 W. 33rd St. with a .45 caliber handgun. At least eight other people were wounded, at least some according to police by the New York City Police officers firing at the suspected shooter, and were taken to local hospitals to be treated for what New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg described as non-life threatening injures. The shooter has been identified as Jeffrey Johnson, 58.  Looks like Johnson was a T-shirt and accessories designer for the company, Hazan Imports.  Reports are that he had a dispute with company vice president Steve Ercolino, 41, police said, and felt his designs were not getting the promotion they deserved.
After he opened fire on Ercolino, police said, Johnson walked away, leaving screaming pedestrians, a body and a pool of blood behind him. Just another violent day in America. This is just plain out of control, my Brothers and Sisters.
