Do You Know Who Stole The Maserati: Some guy walks in a steals a $75K pricey vehicle

"THIS GUY HAS SOME BALLS!:

On Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at 2:00PM, a blue 2008 Maserati Gran Turismo, was stolen from Motor Village LA, located at 2025 South Figueroa Street, Los Angeles. The suspect, described as a male with a shaved head, posed as a customer in order to steal the car. The suspect asked the salesperson for the ignition key to listen to the engine.

The salesperson provided the key and the suspect sat in the driver’s seat and started the engine. While the salesperson was holding on to the opened driver’s door, the suspect put the car in drive and drove away northbound on Figueroa. The theft of the Maserati was captured on security surveillance video. The car is valued at $75,000, Detectives are seeking the assistance from the public to identify the suspect captured on the surveillance video.

TRAP’s mission is to reduce the incidents of auto theft countywide by coordinating a deterrence, investigation, and prosecutorial program with all criminal justice agencies, and private sector business leaders.
