BREAKING NEWS: Officer involved shooting at Palo Verde and Artesia Boulevard results in death of male

I got a "text message" at 4 a.m. about an officer involved shooting that has resulted in the death of a man at Artesia Boulevard and Palo Verde, right on the Bellflower and Cerritos city limit line.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau detectives are en route to Palo Verde Avenue/Artesia Boulevard, Bellflower , to investigate the circumstances surrounding an Officer-Involved (hit) shooting that occurred after the termination of a vehicle pursuit, involving Fullerton Police Department personnel.

No officers were injured. One suspect was wounded and was pronounced dead at the scene.

There is no further information available at this time.
