El Monte's Kim Rhode is now an OFFICIAL OLYMPIC ICON! On Sunday she became the FIRST AMERICAN to WIN INDIVIDUAL MEDALS in FIVE STRAIGHT OLYMPICS! SHE WON GOLD AND WAS ALMOST PERFECT IN SETTING her RECORD!

Rhode won the women's skeet shooting Sunday, tying a world record an

the Olympic mark with 99 points — meaning she missed once in 100 shots.

Some gal from China and Russia came in second and third.
