Funeral for April Kauffman, Radio Talk Show host to be held on Monday at Beth El Synagogue in Margate, New Jersey

April Kauffman, the WOND Radio Talk Show host from New Jersey will be laid to rest at 11 a.m. on Monday at Beth El Synagogue in Margate, New Jersey.
Interment will follow at Rodef Sholom Cemetery in Egg Harbor Township
In lieu of flower, contributions in April’s memory may be made to any veterans organization or to the American Red Cross.
Also, at 3 p.m. Monday, WIBG 1020 will rebroadcast Kauffman’s last full two-hour broadcast on the King Arthur Show, which originally aired May 9, according to WIBG’s King Arthur Gropper.
News about her murder has now been reported as far away as Europe and the Far East

Here is the obituary of April that appeared in our local community newspaper here on Sunday. I hope they find those responsible as soon as possible.....

KAUFFMAN, APRIL CHRISTINE 47 - passed away suddenly on May 10, 2012 at her home in Linwood. Born in Atlantic City, she was a lifelong shore resident. April owned Artistic Salon in Northfield and was also the owner of J.A.K. Purveyors Catering Co. April was also a well-known radio personality on WIBG where she hosted a talk show for many years. April's passion was in helping our U.S. veterans. She was very involved with the Wounded Warriors Project and was responsible for the Vette and Vets program, a corvette museum in Bowling Green, KY. She was also a dedicated board member of the Southern New Jersey chapter of the American Red Cross and she was a recent recipient of the Governor's Jefferson Award for Volunteerism. April was also a board member of Toys for Kids. She brought light to Operation Fireside for Coast Guard recruits, hosting Thanksgiving dinners in her home. She had a passion for her motorcycle and her Corvettes. She is survived by her husband, Dr. James Kauffman of Linwood; her daughter, Kimberly Pack and her husband, Randy Pack of Linwood; and her two grandsons, Carter and Colton Pack and her mother-in-law, Ruth Kauffman. Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services Monday, May 14th, at 11am, at Beth El Synagogue, 500 N. Jerome Avenue in Margate. Interment will follow at Rodef Sholom Cemetery in Egg Harbor Twp. In lieu of flower, contributions in April's memory may be made to any Veterans organization or to the American Red Cross. Arr.
