The biggest "religious" event on Easter Sunday is NOT going to be in Rome with the Pope.
Nope.
It will be in Georgetown, Texas when New York Jet Quarterback Tim Tebow headlines a "Easter on the Hill" service that could draw as many as 50,000 worshipers.
Yep, "God's QB" (aka: Tebow) is the special guest speaker for Celebration Church at its Easter Sunday service entitled “Easter on the Hill.”
They are already getting ready for the big celebration, that will get underway at 10 a.m. (Central Time) on the sprawling 110-acre Westinghouse campus in Georgetown, TX.
“It’s a great time to use the property that the Lord gave to us several years ago and it’s always been our vision to see people worshiping out on that hill. On the heels of our 12th year anniversary, it’s going to be amazing,” said Celebration Church Co-pastor, Lori Champion.
Celebration Church Pastor Joe Champion said, “As the son of an NFL coach, and also someone who came to know Christ thanks to two NFL players who were willing to share the Gospel with me, I am extremely excited to have Tim Tebow with us this year. We believe this year’s service will impact the lives of those who would never enter the doors of a church.”
Gates open at 8 A.M. with service time beginning at 10 A.M.
