Sumner County, Kansas gets ready for HALF MILE Tornado to slam area




Been glued to the Weather Channel tonight.  Looks like this is going to be an awful night for the heartland of America.


Right now, a Tornado watch has been issued for Sumner County, Kansas, right in the  center of the USA.


Here is the latest on the wicked weather....
- A major weekend severe and tornado outbreak unfolds for the central states.
- Severe thunderstorms advance from South Dakota and the central and southern Plains into the Mississippi Valley and western Great Lakes.
- An especially big tornado risk targets Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, western Iowa and western Missouri through tonight.
- Damaging wind gusts and large hail will also target the central and southern Plains through tonight.
- Severe will extend from central Minnesota, Wisconsin and parts of western Michigan to eastern Texas and western Louisiana Sunday.
- Damaging wind gusts, large hail and a few tornadoes are likely in the Mississippi Valley and western Gulf Coast Sunday.
- The severe threat diminishes greatly by Monday as thunderstorms extend from the Great Lakes and interior Northeast to the central and western Gulf Coast.
