Robin Gibb near death in the UK; Bee Gee was an iconic figure to my generation

Sad news out the of United Kingdom this weekend. Legendary performer Robin Gibb has slipped into a coma and is fighting for his life. The word of the icon singer from the "Brothers Gibb" was one of the leading musical forces to my "disco" generation.

On his website www.RobinGibb.com the following message was posted on Saturday night (Los Angeles time)

"Sadly the reports are true that Robin has contracted pneumonia and is in a coma. We are all hoping and praying that he will pull through. Because of this situation, Robin's website is temporarily unavailable. Sorry for any inconvenience."
