LAObserved touts Los Cerritos Community Newspaper coverage of Noguez raid today. Thanks GUYS!

I want to give a PERSONAL SHOUT OUT to the folks over at www.LAObserved.com for highlighting the hard work of Los Cerritos Community Newspaper in our investigation into the misdeeds (and now we can say the word "criminal investigation") of LA County Assessor John Noguez.  Amazing day for us here at LCCN.  Our phones have NOT stopped ringing since 8 a.m. I did have time for a quick bite with my Publisher Brian Hews over at Avenue Three over on South Street here in Cerritos.  Lemon Pepper Burger in case you are wondering....

Noguez-panel-economy.jpgQuestions about Noguez' dealings with campaign contributors and suspicious lowering of tax bills just exploded. Twelve locations were searched. The allegations are bribery and campaign money laundering. The elected official is said to be in Mexico, after the death of his father. No charges have been filed. "This is one of the most AMAZING days of my professional career as a JOURNALIST," says Randy Economy, whose paper first ran stories on Noguez. LA Times,LA Biz ObservedLA Weekly
