Ted Nishihara: Los Coyotes Middle School Substitute Teacher Arrested On Sexual Molestation Charges; Being held at Cerritos Sheriff's Station

Los Cerritos Community News has also learned that Nisihara lists the ABC Unified School District as one of his additional employers, according to an on-line professional website. He also states that he “Substitute teaches for certified elementary through high school teachers,” and is also affiliated as a tutor with Personal Academic Tutor and SCORE! Educational Centers.

A teacher from the Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District is behind bars Monday night on charges of sexual molestation charges. Los Angels County Sheriff's Special Victims Bureau detectives arrested substitute teacher Ted Nishihara from Los Coyotes Middle School in La Mirada after allegations of sexual molestation were reported. 

Details of the arrest are just being made know, but law enforcement said that last Thursday (March 8)the mother of a female student reported to Norwalk Sheriff’s Station deputies that her daughter told her a male substitute teacher, Nishihara at Los Coyotes Middle School, had touched her in a sexual manner during class. Detectives responded to the school on Monday morning and interviewed students as well as staff members and others on the popular campus. Detectives contacted Nishihara at his residence later today and after interviewing Nishihara, detectives arrested him for Lewd Acts Upon a Child.
