sistence, drive and determination for wanting to get "out in the open" once and for all. This is about a free and open society and how a local community newspaper can still be a vital voice in the world around us.
LCCN has a tremendous amount of respect for Los Angeles Times Pulitzer Prize winning reporters and editors who are now actively involved in this probe.
I sure hope the rest of the media corp here in Southern California can follow our lead.

Breaking News-LA Times Confirms LCCN Story On Noguez Probe
To our readers: We emailed the LA Times this morning asking why they did not give LCCN credit, they have since changed the online story to give LCCN credit.
My note in the Los Angeles Times today....

I would like to publicly that the Los Angeles Times for giving proper credit to Los Cerritos Community Newspaper for our efforts in breaking this story three weeks ago. Community newspapers are the heart and soul of America and will always have a proper place in our society. This situation is about keeping our government accountable and the ability of a FREE MEDIA to still exist in our society. Thank you LA Times. BTW. There is a tremendous amount STILL unfolding. Stay tune!
