The 123rd Pasadena Tournament of Rose Parade will be kicking off from historic Colorado Boulevard Monday, January 2, 2012 at 8:00 a.m.
The magical floral displays are being finalized, the marching bands are getting into step, the equestrians are ready to strut, and the protesters from "Occupy the Rose Parade" are also looking to "crash" the Grandaddy of Parades.
Members of the Pasadena Police Department are working on security measures for the annual event that will see millions of on lookers, and a billion viewers all over the globe via television and the internet.
Members of "Occupy the Rose Parade" are planning to be out in force at the end of the parade to voice their concerns about "corporate greed" and to voice their objections over the current economic practices of many of those businesses who have entries in the parade.
