I love my Catholic faith.  Tonight it saddens me to know that Our Lady of Guadalupe  Catholic Church here in Santa Ana is no more due to a massive fire.
Today is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, one of the most sacred days of the year for Catholics. Our Lady of Guadalupe is the Patroness of the Americas.  It was just this past week when The Most Rev. Tod D. Brown, Bishop of Orange led a procession of more than 2,000 faithful in Celebration of the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe.  The Sanctuary at Our Lady was literally just reconstructed, this Church has been part of "our world" here since the 1930's.
Tonight it is literally a pile of ash.
But, from fire comes Blessings.  We had a fire at my home three years ago, and a visiting Priest from the Philippines told me "Not to worry, with Fire come's Blessings."  I didn't know what he was talking about at that moment, but it sunk in around eight months later.
I will Pray for all the people in Santa Ana tonight who attend this historical Church that will live on forever in so many ways!
