Los Cerritos Community News has learned that members of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department have made entry into the barricaded house across the street from Los Coyotes Middle School in La Mirada via a mechanical robot.
Norwalk Sheriff's Captain Pat Maxwell told LCCN at 3:15 p.m. that they were successful in gaining entry into the home located at 15966 Algeciras Drive where a suspect has been held up since around 8 a.m. Friday morning.
Maxwell said that the garage door has been knocked down and that at least two rooms of the house have been already searched. He also said that other rooms are still in the process of being checked.
BTW.... Thanks CAPTAIN MAXWELL for sending LCCN this photo from the scene today!

Your accuracy of the reported residence of the suicidal shooter in La Mirada is not even within two blocks of the actual residence, which is directly across from Los Coyotes Middle School. You shouldn't be relied upon for any kind of reporting with inaccuracies as egregious as this.

That was a very crazy experience for all the students at that school.
