I drove by the encampment known as Occupy LA last night and it looked like business as usual for the hundreds of protesters who have taken over a swatch of land that you and I own for the past two months.

All of the fun for the campers is coming to an end within hours.  Yep.  The evacuation notices have been posted.  Time for "them to go" according to LA Mayor Antonio V and LA Police Czar Chuck Beck.  Curious that the deadline is 12:01 a.m. Monday morning.  No live television coverage.  Yep.  News stations in LA don't cover anything in the middle of the ni

ght, perhaps that will change during the next few hours.  If some "news director" had their priorities in line, the would be doing "around the clock" coverage of the "eviction" ceremony that will no doubt end in some sort of violence.  I don't think it is asking to much to allow the public the right to see how our tax dollars are going to be spent during the "final hours" in this much hyped protest.  As a member of the media, this Occupy movement has been interesting to witness.  Do you think the movement has proven their point?  Tonight Charlie Beck will be tested.  Mayor Antonio V will be tested.  The Movement will be tested.  Let's make sure that the people will be able to actually see how this is all going to end with live video coverage.
