(Artesia) A fire destroyed a classroom bungalow at Eliot Elementary School in Artesia early Thursday morning. Eliot Elementary, that is located at the corner of Norwalk Boulevard and 183^rd Street broke out at 2:42 a.m.

According to Dr. Mary Seiu, Deputy Superintendent for the ABC Unified School District, the fire involved one bungalow at the northwest side of the campus. The bungalow is used for counseling and an early intervention program. It is not used as a regular classroom.
