EXPLORER CESAR RODRIGUEZ TO BE LAID TO REST ON FRIDAY AT ROSE HILLS IN WHITTIER

Burning candleImage via WikipediaFuneral services for slain Norwalk Sheriff's Station Explorer Scout Cesar Rodriguez will be take place on Friday morning beginning at 9 a.m. at the Sky Rose Chapel at Rose Hills Memorial Park & Mortuaries.


The memorial park is located at 3888 Workman Mill Road in Whittier. 


Several members of law enforcement will be attending the event including Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee BacaRodriguez, 19, and Larry Villegas, 24, were fatally shot Aug. 28 while leaving a party in the 11800 block of Painter Avenue in South Whittier.  The case is still under investigation, and no arrests have been made.
