The Department of Defense announced on Sunday that a Southern California native was killed in non-active duty the line of duty this weekend, and I wanted to make sure that his passing does not go unnoticed.
Spc. Jinsu Lee, 34, of Chatsworth, Calif. died Aug. 5, in Kunar province, Afghanistan.
He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.
His death is now being investigated by the Department of Defense.
I hope you can pause and reflect on the life of this "one AMERICAN solider" who leaves a wife and three children.
We are still fighting wars, and America is in one of the worst fiscal crisis since the generations.
Time to reflect....
