LOS ANGELES – The man arrested for allegedly showing up at the home of actress Halle Berry several times was charged today with felony stalking, the District Attorney’s office announced. Richard Anthony Franco, 27 (dob 12-4-83), is scheduled to be arraigned today at Foltz Criminal Justice Center, Department 30, said Deputy District Attorney Wendy Segall with the Target Crimes Unit. He is being held on $150,000 bail. Franco was charged in case BA 386471 with one felony count of stalking for allegedly showing up at Berry's Hollywood Hills home several times. He was arrested about 11:15 p.m. Monday after neighbors reported the presence of a possible burglar, police said. The Commerce resident, who is on probation after pleading no contest in June to a misdemeanor battery charge, is facing up to three years in state prison if convicted.
