Homicide detectives have converge on a residence at the 8500 block of Pico Vista Road, Tuesday night after a dead charred body was located.

According to Deputy Aura Sierra, with the Media Division with the Los

Image via WikipediaAngeles County Sheriffs Department in Monterey Park, the Pico Rivera Sheriff’s department received a call around 6:30 p.m. about a charred “dead body” found.

Law enforcement and members of the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office are currently at the scene, as of 12:03 a.m. Wednesday.

Dep. Sierra said it was not determined if the victim was a male of female.
