It is a barn burner in today's special election to replace longtime Rep. Jane Harman in California's 36th Congressional District. This race has been nasty, and right now, as the early votes are trending, the two leading Democratic rivals are leading the crowded field of hopefuls.
Los Angeles City Councilwoman Janice Hahn and Secretary of State Deb Bowen are right now leading the race, and Republican millionaire Craig Huey is just 800 votes behind in third place.
