LOS ANGELES, CA

Alonzo Ester, a popular night club owner has been shot and killed outside his upscale Baldwin Hills estate earlier this morning and law enforcement has launched a major investigation to find the person or person's responsible.

According to family and friends being interviewed on several news outlets, Ester was well liked by everyone who knew him, and his murder has sent a shock wave around the quiet upscale enclave in which they reside.

One of the clubs he operated with the Dynasty Restaurant and Lounge located on South Locust. The club has not posted anything on their website as of 3 p.m. on Friday.

He was apparently pulling up to his home and while sitting inside his Rolls Royce (with an estimated price tag of around $300K) shots rang out. Members of the Los Angeles Police Department arrived at around 2:30 a.m. in the 4200 block of Hillcrest Drive and immediately shut down the neighborhood. Ester was the owner of the Dynasty Restaurant and Lounge in Inglewood. According to a preliminary reports, Ester was sitting in his vehicle when another man walked up to the passenger side and shot him twice.
