Justin Beiber, you are so two months ago.

Bring in Rebecca Black. The HOTTEST thing on YOU TUBE and possibly the next teen idol is bigger than big.  Almost as big as the new billboard that went up in Hollywood celebrating this new "celeb" in the making.
Her new tune is called "Friday."  Bubble gum.  Sugar sweet, and a whole lot of big "green" bucks are about to be found in this teeners soon to be expanding bank account. (I wonder if she "actually" has a bank account.  Don't you have to be 18?)

During the past month or so, this ONE video (Friday) has now had more than 102,000,000 VISITS on YOU TUBE, alone.  Incredible, and yes, those You Tube visits actually translate to coins and dollars.  I love this success “story" in the making...

ARK Music Factory is on to something here. In case you haven't yet heard about "ARK Music," don't worry.  You will soon.   ARK is all about a new genre called "Community" based music.  It is an independent record label and is based right here in our hood of Los Angeles.

ARK Music Factory is a sort of "pay in advance" before you go to the big leagues record label. I call in genius, and it starts with founder Patrice Wilson, who then partnered up with producer/composer Clarence Jey.  Not everyone is happy, and according to some entertainment industry publications, friction is beginning to come to a boil from Rebecca's family.

It is interesting to me, that Rebecca is already involved in a "squabble" this quick out of the starting gate to fame.   She has only been in the "business" for a couple of months...officially or unofficially.   I hope the Black family consulted an entertainment attorney before they signed an agreement with ANYONE on behalf of their minor daughter. ARK's business development of future crooners and stars,  centers on recruitment and discovery of young singers. No brainer these days when hundreds of thousands of people audition for "American Idol" and "America's Got Talent" year in and year out.

ARK's artists, it has been reported, pay a $2,000 to $4,000 fee and then ARK writes and produces music in collaboration with the artist, often producing music videos and promotion of the songs. In this case, Rebecca Black owns the "master recording" of "Friday" and ARK retains publishing rights to the song.  Seems fair to me.

According to the company's Myspace page, they categorize themselves as an indie record label.  "We at ARK make it possible for an emerging artist to be discovered, defined and delivered, to advance in their chosen career and be successful." ARK is predominantly based in the US, although they claim that artists they have supported have had success in different regions across the globe.

Anyway, look for a slew of hit and hit makers to emerge from "The ARK."  Two by two, here they come!  Is this a great Hollywood success story in the making?  Stay tuned.
