TERESA SCANLAN: 17 YEAR OLD CORNHUSKER WINS 2011 MISS AMERICA TITLE! POLITICS COULD BE IN HER FUTURE

There she is! Teresa Scanlan, the youngest Miss America in the 90 year history of the pageant. Yep, Miss America 2011 is just 17 years old and just graduated from high school.

I wonder if she has a drivers license?  Not to worry.  She will have plenty of staff and drivers to take care of her for the next 365 days and beyond.

Our new "fairest of the fair of them all" was the best on the stage tonight on the Vegas Strip.  No question.  The kid ruled the run way.  Can you imagine what she must be experiencing tonight?

Scanlan is from Gerig, Nebraska and is a recent garduate of Scottsbluff High School. Her platform was focused on eating disorders of members of her generation.  Great cause.  BTW.  She is a dead ringer for a young Kristy Alley.

Gering is located just east of Scotts Bluff National Monument, a well-known landmark on the Oregon Trail in Western Nebraska's Scotts Bluff County just 40 miles north of I-80.

This is a movie in the making. She wants to become a future judge and eventually a politician.  What? A Politician?  Tell you what, give me a call in seven years, Missy.  I am sure I can find you an empty Congressional seat that would fit you as perfect as that huge supply of DSW Shoes you won for the next twelve months.  Glad to see Miss America back on prime time television. Great competition. Very impressed with the "Donald Trump Touch." Great to see all the former Miss America's on one stage. My choice was the amazing and brave Miss Delaware Kayla Martell, who competed tonight with different wigs since she suffers from a rare disorder that causes women to go bald called Alopacia.  She did make in all the way to the Top Ten.  Can you imagine if Miss Deleware would have actually pulled this off?  I think she should have competed without the gold locks.  Bald is BEAUTIFUL!

She deserves it. All of the competitors did. Miss Nebraska just came out on top so congratulations to her. She will be a great Miss America. As for some of these crazy racist comments they are out of place here. After many years this pageant is doing a great job with representation from all ethnicity's.
