REMEMBERING TODAYS VICTIMS IN ARIZONA: JUDGE JOHN ROLL, 63; DOROTHY MURPHY, 76; DORWIN STODDARD, age 76; CHRISTINA GREENE, age 9; PHYLLIS SCHNECK, age 79; and GABRIEL ZIMMERMAN, age 30. Is there a "second suspect" at large?

We now know the names of those of were killed on Saturday in that horrific massacre involving US Representative Gabrielle Giffords during a community meeting at a shopping center parking lot.

According to information just released by the Pima County Sheriff's Department, the attack took place at  approximately 10:00 a.m.

When deputies responded to the Safeway parking lot, located at the southeast corner of Oracle and Ina Road. Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords was holding a town hall meeting at the location when a 22 year old male, identified as Jared Loughner opened fire with a handgun.

Tonight's Candlelight Vigil

At least 18 individuals were injured, including the Congresswoman. She has been listed in critical condition and is alert tonight after going through a major surgery.  One bullet went through her entire brain.  She is lucky to be alive.

The Sheriff confirmed 5 were pronounced deceased at the scene and a 9 year old was later pronounced at the hospital.

The deceased have been identified as:
  • Federal Court Judge John Roll, age 63 
  • Dorothy Murray, age 76 
  • Dorwin Stoddard, age 76 
  • Christina Greene age 9
  • Phyllis Schneck age 79 
  • Gabriel Zimmerman age 30
