I cannot believe that at least 31 people have been killed today in an explosion at Moscow's Domodedovo Airport. It appears at this time to be the hideous work of at least one "suicide bomber." The horror of this attack should put all of us on "alert" today not only is Russia, but everywhere..

This wasn't just an attack on Russia, this was an attack against humanity. I cannot imagine the fear that the people are experiencing at this busy airport today.

Domodedovo is the busiest of the Russian capital's three commercial airports. At least 130 people are thought to have been injured. The people of Russia look at this new airport as their "shining example" of their new progressive and modern nation.

Local media reported smoke billowing out of the baggage claim area and people were seen running out of the emergency exits.

Airport security has confirmed that shrapnel, screws and metal balls were found at the site of the blast.

Security has been stepped up across Moscow and all over the world today.

This is not the first attack at a Russian airport.

In 2010 two female suicide bombers from Russia's volatile Dagestan region set off explosives in the metro subway system that killed 40 people.
