South Korea is set to start live firing drills on Yeonpyeong island, close to the border with North Korea. That's despite the threat of retaliation from Pyongyang.  Residents of five border islands close to the two countries have been ordered to move into bunkers.  Sebastian Walker reports from AlJazeera English.

Are North and South Korea on the verge of an all out war tonight?

According to CNN, South Korea's planned live-fire military exercises have started.  Also confirming the drills is AlJazeera English.

This is horrible news, that everyone in the world needs to take notice. In South Korea, approximately 8,000 residents have been ordered to take cover in Yeonpyeong, Baengnyeong, Daecheong, Socheong and Udo.  I have lots of amazing friends from Korea who live here in Cerritos, CA.   Our Mayor Joseph Cho is one of two American Mayors from South Korea.  Tonight, the world needs to take heed of this news.  Pray for Peace.
