Anyway, here is a bulletin from our peeps down at the Long Beach PD today.
The Long Beach Police Department is seeking the public's help with identifying a suspect that is wanted in connection with seven sexual assaults that have occurred during July 15, 2010, through August 5, 2010. All of the incidents have occurred in apartment complexes near the area of Paramount Boulevard and South Street. In all of the incidents, the suspect has approached young female victims from behind and has groped them. After the attacks the suspect has fled on foot, but not before thanking the victims. The suspect is described as a male Black, 16 to 22 years of age, 5’3" to 5’5”, 140-160 pounds, shaved or short hair and medium to dark skin. The suspect was seen walking with a limp and described as being pigeon toed, wearing dark and light colored shirts and basketball/gym type shorts. If you encounter the suspect please call 9-1-1, or if you see anyone suspicious in your neighborhood call the Long Beach Police Dispatch center at (562) 435-6711. Anyone who may have information regarding these incidents or the suspect’s identity is urged to call the Long Beach Police Department’s Sex Crimes Tip line at (562) 570-7878.
