The countdown to the 122nd Pasadena Tournament of Rose Parade has officially begun.

Building Dreams, Friendships & Memories, will take place on Saturday, January 1, 2011 at 8:00 a.m. (PST). I love this parade. I am sad that my hometown of Cerritos, California is sitting out this years super flower festival. Yep, some municipalities have "opted" out of the annual event due to the poor economic times.

But, not to worry. The Parade must go on, and on and on!

Here is a "sneak peek" at the upcoming 2011 edition of the Rose Parade. Parade Grand Marshall will be the hilarious Paula Deen, the Diva chef who takes no prisoners in the kitchen. I was hoping that Betty White would have been the Grand Marshall this year...
