Washington, DC-

Is the ultimate Washington DC political insider about to take over the Democratic National Committee?

Politico.com has blasted out an "E-ALERT" that White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs is being pushed to become the new national head of the troubled political party.

This has got to be a joke?  Robert Gibbs, the next Chairman of the DNC?  LMAO!

What are they smoking in the White House these days?  Makes me wonder about the sanity of Democrat leaders to allow a "Gibby takeover."

"Democratic insiders are consulting top party donors about the possibility of naming White House press secretary Robert Gibbs as chairman of the Democratic National Committee heading into President Barack Obama’s reelection campaign in 2012, senior officials tell POLITICO," the email claims.

According to sources, Tim Kaine, he current DNC chairman, would be named to a top administration post, perhaps in the Cabinet.

Gibbs, who has worked for Obama since "day one" in his political "inner circle" since April 2004, has been planning to leave the Press Secretary "fish bowl" for a while but still wants to remain with the Obama White House for the next two years.

Here is the problem with the Democratic National Committee....it is controlled by DC "way inside the beltway boyz" who do not understand the real concerns and workings of the "real Democratic Party" across America.

Be careful what you wish for, Democrats.

If I was a Member of the Democratic Party National Committee, I would say "no" to Gibbs, and get a real "political organizer" to rebuild your party from the roots up, not from the White House down....
