In the end, it turned out to be a "GRIMM" story for the fairytale ride of 10-year old Jackie Evancho in her hopes to become the winner on the 2010 edition of "America's Got Talent."
The Richland grade-schooler Jackie Evancho was the second-place runner-up for the $1 million grand prize in NBC's America's Got Talent competition.
She lost to winner Michael Grimm, who's "rags to riches" story and amazing mellow smooth tunes carried him to the top.
Jackie, a fifth-grader whose YouTube home videos launched her appearance on the competitive reality show, was up against Grimm, outlandish operatic singer Prince Poppycock (John Quale) and Fighting Gravity, a black light dance group from Virginia Tech.
