A massive gas line explosion tonight at around 6:30 p.m. in a quiet neighborhood in San Bruno, California has already sent at least a dozen people to the hospital .
It is literally "hell on earth" according to some firefighters on the scene.
Tonight chaos erupted in this quiet little enclave.
Authorities said 80 to 120 foot flames have spread from the initial burn site.
The location is near Skyline Boulevard and San Bruno Avenue.
The gas line blast has literally destroyed a large portion of a neighborhood in the community that is located south of San Fransisco near SFO Airport at the  Claremont Drive and Glenview Drive area.
Officials are fearing the worst.  It appears that it was a natural gas line that blew up and it is still out of control as of 9:07 p.m.

More than four different hospitals are currently helping victims.
The fire is so intense, and the wind is so strong, that firefighters are still having a hard time dealing with this situation more than 3 hours after it exploded.
