A major earthquake hit near the south coast of Papua, Indonesia today registering at 7.2.
Major damages are being reported. Tsunami warnings have been issued.

A 6.6 earthquake also rocked the area right before the major 7.2 shaker.

You may know me from my role as the Senior Advisor and Official Media Spokesman for the Recall Gavin Newsom campaign that established a worldwide blitz of interviews.
