SUNDAY CROWN FIRE: 87% contained, 13, 918 acres burned

Here is an update on the Crown fire up in the Auga Dulce area....

Last nights weather allowed fire crews on the ground to continue to strengthen control most of the lines. The Los Angeles County Fire Department and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department appreciate the cooperation of residents in complying with evacuation orders. First responders will continue to be working in the affected areas and firefighters will continue to construct lines, work on any remaining hot spots and patrol the area.
All roads are open to normal traffic. Crews from the Fire Department, Department of Water and Power, Edison, So Cal Gas, Public Works, and LA County Public Health will all be working throughout the area. Road speeds shall remain below posted speed limits to provide safe transportation for residents and working crews. Watch out for repairs.
