The crash that took the lives of at least 8 people and seriously injured 20 more has been aired all over the globe during the past 10 hours. I wanted to keep our community and my readers up to date on information about this tragic incident.
This was sent to me from one of my readers in Moscow City who saw this on Russia Today news service.
"An off-road truck has ploughed into spectators at a night rally in southern California, killing eight people. Twelve others were injured - with some airlifted to hospital. The driver had to flee the crash site when the crowd turned against him. It's thought he lost control of the vehicle after mistiming a jump at the start of the race. The annual California 200 event attracts thousands to watch dune buggy-style cars leap different obstacles."

I was at the race.
I saw two of the victims... It was something out of a "horror movie."
I am so angry at that driver. This should have NEVER HAPPENED.
I hope he gets charged in this case. Still can't believe what I saw. This will be with me my entire life.
Great coverage, Mr. Economy.
Do you have a list of the victims? I know the name of one of those killed.
Holy God. What an awful scene. I was at race. Just plain sad and angry this morning.
I wonder if the driver who caused this accident has been "drug tested?"
